"Membangun Harapan: Kisah Perjalanan Tahir pendiri Rumah Sakit Mayapada"

Hujan turun deras di suatu sore tahun 1980-an. Di sudut sebuah rumah sakit kecil di Surabaya, seorang pemuda bernama Tahir duduk dengan gelisah. Matanya tak lepas dari pintu ruang ICU, tempat ibunya sedang berjuang antara hidup dan mati.

Seorang perawat muda melintas, membawa nampan penuh dengan obat-obatan. Tahir menghentikannya.
"Maaf, bagaimana kondisi ibu saya?" tanyanya, suaranya bergetar menahan cemas.
Perawat itu tersenyum tipis, mencoba memberi harapan. "Kami sedang melakukan yang terbaik, Pak. Tapi alat-alat di sini terbatas. Mohon berdoa saja."

Tahir terdiam. Kata-kata itu menghantam hatinya seperti petir. Terbatas. Itu adalah kata yang begitu akrab dalam hidupnya – dari kecil hingga dewasa, selalu ada keterbatasan. Keterbatasan biaya, keterbatasan kesempatan, dan kini keterbatasan medis.

Beberapa hari kemudian, setelah ibunya berhasil melewati masa kritis, Tahir duduk di samping ranjangnya. Tangan keriput ibunya menggenggam erat jemarinya.
"Nak, ibu bangga padamu. Tapi ingat, kekayaan bukan hanya tentang uang. Kekayaan sejati adalah seberapa banyak kamu bisa memberi manfaat bagi orang lain," bisik sang ibu, suaranya lemah tapi penuh makna.

Kata-kata itu terukir dalam hati Tahir. Ia tahu, suatu hari ia harus melakukan sesuatu untuk mengubah keadaan ini. Bukan hanya untuk ibunya, tapi untuk semua orang yang tak seberuntung dirinya.

Bertahun-tahun kemudian, setelah sukses merintis bisnisnya sendiri, Tahir berdiri di depan bangunan besar yang masih berdebu – gedung pertama RS Mayapada. Ia melihat para pekerja yang sibuk, suara mesin konstruksi yang bising, dan aroma semen yang memenuhi udara. Ia tersenyum, merasakan detak jantungnya penuh harapan.

Seorang rekan bisnisnya datang, menepuk bahunya.
"Kenapa repot-repot membangun rumah sakit, Tahir? Bisnis properti dan bank sudah lebih dari cukup," katanya, setengah bercanda.
Tahir menatap gedung yang hampir selesai itu, matanya penuh tekad. "Ini bukan hanya bisnis. Ini tentang memberi kesempatan kedua. Tentang memberi harapan."

Rekannya terdiam sejenak, lalu tersenyum paham. Ia tahu, Tahir bukan sekadar pengusaha biasa. Ia adalah seseorang yang melihat dunia dengan cara berbeda – dengan hati.

Seiring waktu, Mayapada Hospital berkembang menjadi salah satu jaringan rumah sakit terkemuka di Indonesia, sebuah simbol dari harapan dan pelayanan dengan hati, persis seperti yang selalu diimpikan oleh ibunya.
