Metode Audit dalam Penilaian Elemen Akreditasi Rumah Sakit

Standar Nasional Akreditasi Rumah Sakit Edisi 1 merupakan standar pelayanan berfokus pada pasien untuk meningkatkan mutu dan keselamatan pasien dengan pendekatan manajemen risiko di Rumah Sakit.
Setiap elemen penilaian dilengkapi dengan (R) atau (D), atau (W) atau (O) atau (S), atau kombinasinya yang berarti sebagai berikut :

(R) =Regulasi, yang dimaksud dengan regulasi adalah dokumen pengaturan yang disusun oleh rumah sakit yang dapat berupa kebijakan, prosedur (SPO), pedoman, panduan, peraturan Direktur rumah sakit, keputusan Direktur rumah sakit dan atau program.
(D) = Dokumen, yang dimaksud dengan dokumen adalah bukti proses kegiatan atau pelayanan yang dapat berbentuk berkas rekam medis, laporan dan atau notulen rapat dan atau hasil audit dan atau ijazah dan bukti dokumen pelaksanaan kegiatan lainnya.
(O) =Observasi, yang dimaksud dengan observasi adalah bukti kegiatan yang didapatkan berdasarkan hasil penglihatan/observasi yang dilakukan oleh surveior.
(S) =Simulasi, yang dimaksud dengan simulasi adalah peragaaan kegiatan yang dilakukan oleh staf rumah sakit yang diminta oleh surveior.
(W) =Wawancara, yang dimaksud dengan wawancara adalah kegiatan tanya jawab yang dilakukan oleh surveior yang ditujukan kepada pemilik/representasi pemilik, direktur rumah sakit, pimpinan rumah sakit, profesional pemberi asuhan (PPA), staf klinis, staf non klinis, pasien, keluarga, tenaga kontrak dan lain-lain.
