2.8. Pendidikan kesehatan dan konseling kepada pasien/keluarga.

Pendidikan/Penyuluhan kepada pasien/keluarga pasien mendukung peran serta mereka dalam setiap pengambilan keputusan dan pelaksanaan  layanan.

Kriteria

2.8.1. Pasien/keluarga  memperoleh pendidikan/penyuluhan kesehatan dengan pendekatan yang komunikatif dan bahasa yang mudah dipahami

Pokok Pikiran:

  • Untuk meningkatkan outcome klinis yang optimal perlu ada kerjasama antara petugas kesehatan dan pasien/keluarga. Pasien/keluarga perlu mendapatkan penyuluhan kesehatan dan edukasi yang terkait dengan penyakit dan kebutuhan klinis pasien, oleh karena itu penyuluhan dan pendidikan pasien/keluarga perlu dipadukan dalam pelayanan klinis. Pendidikan dan penyuluhan kepada pasien termasuk perilaku hidup bersih dan sehat (PHBS). Agar penyuluhan dan pendidikan pasien/keluarga dilaksanakan dengan efektif maka dilakukan dengan pendekatan komunikasi interpersonal antara pasien dan petugas kesehatan, dan menggunakan bahasa yang mudah dipahami oleh pasien/keluarga.

 Elemen Penilaian:

  1. Penyusunan dan pelaksanaan layanan mencakup aspek pendidikan/penyuluhan kesehatan pasien/keluarga pasien
  2. Pedoman/materi pendidikan/penyuluhan kesehatan mencakup informasi mengenai penyakit, penggunaan obat, peralatan medik,  aspek etika di klinik dan perilaku hidup bersih dan sehat
  3. Tersedia metode dan media pendidikan/penyuluhan kesehatan bagi pasien dan keluarga dengan      memperhatikan kondisi sasaran/penerima informasi (misal bagi yang tidak bisa membaca)
  4. Dilakukan  penilaian terhadap efektivitas penyampaian informasi kepada pasien/keluarga pasien agar mereka dapat berperan aktif dalam proses layanan dan memahami konsekuensi layanan yang diberikan
