Penekanan Audit SDM

Audit SDM tidak harus selalu ditekankan untuk mencari pelanggaran atau ketidak sesuaian. Secara konsep audit dapat dibedakan dalam tiga tingkatan yaitu  : 

  • Audit ketaatan azas (compliance audit).
  • Audit kesehatan azas (checking health audit).
  • Audit inovasi (innovation audit)

Audit Ketaatan Azas

Audit ketaatan azas ditekankan untuk memeriksa apakah terjadi penyimpangan dari azas-azas yang berlaku, misalnya mendeteksi apakah terjadi penyimpangan dari kebijakan, prinsip, prosedur, perencanaan kerja, anggaran, peraturan perundang-undangan dan sebagainya. Bila penyimpangan dianggap signifikan maka hal tersebut didiskusikan dengan auditee dan bila terbukti terjadi penyimpangan dapat diangkat sebagai temuan. Untuk mengetahui ada tidaknya penyimpangan Auditor biasanya membandingkan antara kondisi aktual dengan kriteria atau ketentuan yang telah ditetapkan.

Audit Kesehatan Azas

Selain untuk mendeteksi penyimpangan, auditor perlu juga dapat menilai apakah azas yang dijadikan acuan telah cukup baik dan sesuai dengan tujuan dan rancangan pengembangan organisasi masa depan. Audit kesehatan azas akan lebih banyak menilai ketepatan dan relevansi azas-azas yang berlaku. Termasuk dalam pengertian azas adalah strategi, kebijakan, prosedur, metode standar-standar kriteria atau prinsip-prinsip bahkan filosopi manajemen SDMyang dianut. Auditor dapat memberikan penilaian dengan memberikan argumentasi alasan-alasan mengapa suatu azas dianggap tidak relevan lagi dengan tuntutan jaman dan kebutuhan perusahaan. Auditor dapat membandingkan azas-azas yang sama pada organisasi lain yang lebih baik misalnya tentang efisiensi tenaga kerja.

Audit Inovasi

Audit inovasi adalah audit untuk mencari terobosan dan tantangan baru. Auditor memanfaatkan pengetahuan dan kemampuan yang dimilikinya untuk menggali potensi nilai dari perspektif SDM, memotivasi auditee untuk memacu prestasi dengan melakukan berbagai perubahan atau inovasi.
