Pengelolaan Nyeri

Rumah sakit menetapkan pelayanan pasien untuk mengatasi nyeri. Nyeri dapat diakibatkan oleh kondisi, penyakit pasien, tindakan, atau pemeriksaan yang dilakukan. Sebagai bagian dari rencana asuhan maka pasien diberi informasi tentang kemungkinan timbul nyeri akibat tindakan, atau prosedur pemeriksaan, dan pasien diberitahu pilihan yang tersedia untuk mengatasi nyeri. Apapun yang menjadi sebab timbulnya nyeri jika tidak dapat diatasi akan berpengaruh secara fisik maupun psikologis. Pasien dengan nyeri dilakukan asesmen dan pelayanan untuk mengatasi nyeri dengan tepat.
 
Berdasar atas cakupan asuhan yg diberikan maka rumah sakit menetapkan proses untuk melakukan skrining, asesmen, dan pelayanan untuk mengatasi nyeri meliputi
  • identifikasi pasien untuk rasa nyeri pada asesmen awal dan ases menulang;
  • memberi informasi kepada pasien bahwa nyeri dapat disebabkan oleh tindakan atau pemeriksaan;
  • melaksanakan pelayanan untuk mengatasi nyeri terlepas dari mana nyeri itu berasal;
  • melakukan komunikasi dan edukasi kepada pasien dan keluarga perihal pelayanan untuk mengatasi nyeri sesuai dengan latar belakang agama, budaya, nilai-nilai pasien, dan keluarga;
  • melatih PPA tentang asesmen dan pelayanan untuk mengatasi nyeri.

  1. Rumah sakit menetapkan regulasi pelayanan pasien untuk mengatasinyeri. (R)  
  2. Pasien nyeri menerima pelayanan untuk mengatasi nyeri sesuai dengan kebutuhan.(D,W) 
  3. Pasien dan keluarga diberikan edukasi tentang pelayanan untuk mengatasi nyeri sesuai dengan latar belakang agama, budaya, nilai-nilai pasien, dan keluarga.(D,W) 
  4. Pasien dan keluarga diberikan edukasi tentang kemungkinan timbulnya nyeri akibat tindakan yang terencana, prosedur pemeriksaan, dan pilihan yang tersedia untuk mengatasi nyeri.(D,W,S)
  5. Rumah sakit melaksanakan pelatihan pelayanan mengatasi nyeri untuk staf. (D,W)
