Penyimpanan Persediaan Farmasi, Alat Kesehataan Dan Bahan medis

Rumah sakit menetapkan tata laksana pengaturan penyimpanan sediaan farmasi, alat kesehatan, dan bahan medis habis pakai yang baik, benar, serta aman.
Sediaan farmasi, alat kesehatan, dan bahan medis habis pakai disimpan di tempat yang sesuai, dapat di gudang logistik, di instalasi farmasi, atau di satelit atau depo farmasi serta diharuskan memiliki pengawasan di semua lokasi penyimpanan.

Elemen Penilaian PKPO 3
1.      Ada regulasi tentang pengaturan penyimpanan sediaan farmasi, alat kesehatan, dan bahan medis habis pakai yang baik, benar, dan aman.(R)

2.       Ada bukti obat dan zat kimia yang digunakan untuk mempersiapkan obat diberi label yang terdiri atas isi/nama obat, tanggal kadaluarsa, dan peringatan khusus.

3.        Ada bukti implementtasi proses penyimpanan obat yang tepat agar kondisi obat tetap stabil, termasuk obat yang disimpan di luar instalasi farmasi.(D,W)

4.       Ada bukti pelaksanaan dilakukan supervisi secara teratur oleh apoteker untuk memastikan penyimpanan obat dilakukan dengan baik.(D,W)

5.     Ada bukti pelaksanaan obat dilindungi dari kehilangan serta pencurian disemua tempat penyimpanan dan pelayanan.(D,W)

Standar PKPO 3.1
Rumah sakit mengatur tata kelola bahan berbahaya, serta obat narkotika dan psikotropika yang baik, benar, dan aman sesuai dengan peraturan perundang- undangan.

Beberapa macam obat seperti obat radioaktif dan obat yang dibawa pasien sebelum rawat inap mungkin memiliki risiko keamanan. Obat program pemerintah atau obat darurat dimungkinkan ada kesempatan penyalahgunaan atau karena ada kandungan khusus (misalnya nutrisi), memerlukan ketentuan khusus untuk menyimpan dan mengawasi penggunaannya. Rumah sakit menetapkan prosedur yang mengatur tentang penerimaan, identifikasi, tempat penyimpanan, dan distribusi macam obat-obat ini.

Elemen Penilaian PKPO 3.1

3.    Ada bukti penyimpanan obat narkotika serta psikotropika yang baik, benar, dan aman sesuai dengan regulasi.(O,W)

4.      Ada bukti pelaporan obat narkotika serta psikotropika secara akurat sesuai dengan peraturan dan perundang-undangan.(D,W)

Rumah sakit mengatur tata kelola penyimpanan elektrolit konsentrat yang baik, benar, dan aman sesuai dengan peraturan perundang-undangan.
Maksud dan Tujuan PKPO 3.2

Jika ada pasien emerjensi maka akses cepat ketempat obat yang diperlukan menjadi sangat penting dan obat harus siap pakai bila sewaktu-waktu diperlukan. Setiap rumah sakit harus membuat rencana lokasi penyimpanan obat emerjensi, contoh troli obat emerjensi yang tersedia di berbagai unit pelayanan, obat untuk mengatasi syok anafilatik di tempat penyuntikan, dan obat untuk pemulihan anestesi ada di kamar operasi. Obat emerjensi dapat disimpan di lemari emerjensi, troli, tas/ransel, kotak, dan lainnya sesuai dengan kebutuhan di tempat tersebut. Rumah sakit diminta menetapkan prosedur untuk memastikan ada kemudahan untuk mencapai dengan cepat tempat penyimpanan obat emerjensi jika dibutuhkan, termasuk obat selalu harus segera diganti kalau digunakan, bila rusak atau kadaluarsa, selain itu keamanan obat emergensi harus diperhatikan.

Rumah sakit menetapkan pengaturan penyimpanan dan pengawasan penggunaan obat tertentu.
Beberapa macam obat memerlukan ketentuan khusus untuk menyimpan dan mengawasi penggunaannya seperti

a)      produknutrisi;

b)      obat dan bahan radio aktif;

c)      obat yang dibawa pasien sebelum rawat inap mungkin memiliki risiko terhadap keamanan;

d)      obat program atau bantuan pemerintah/pihaklain;

e)      obat yang digunakan untuk penelitian.

Rumah sakit menetapkan prosedur yang mengatur penerimaan, identifikasi, tempat penyimpanan, dan distribusi macam obat-obat ini.
