Perencanaan Perbaikan Strategis (PPS) Akreditasi Rumah Sakit

Perencanaan Perbaikan Strategis (PPS) adalah rencana kerja tertulis yang harus dibuat oleh rumah sakit sebagai tindak lanjut hasil penilaian yang “tidak terpenuhi” (“not met”) atau “terpenuhi sebagian” dari hasil survei oleh KARS. Perencanaan Perbaikan Strategis (PPS) yang tertulis diharapkan dapat:

  • menegakkan strategi/pendekatan yang akan diterapkan oleh rumah sakit akan untuk menangani setiap temuan yang “tidak terpenuhi” (“not met”) atau “terpenuhi sebagian”
  • menjelaskan tindakan spesifik akan digunakan oleh rumah sakit untuk mencapai kepatuhan pada standar yang dinilai “tidak terpenuhi” (“not met”)/elemen

penilaiannya telah dikutip;

  • menjelaskan langkah-langkah spesifik yang akan digunakan rumah sakit untuk berkomunikasi dan mengedukasi karyawan, dokter, dan staf lainnya dalam melaksanakan tindakan-tindakan untuk mencapai kepatuhan pada standar atau elemen penilaian yang dinilai “tidak terpenuhi” (“not met”) atau “terpenuhi sebagian”
  • menjelaskan metodologi untuk mencegah terjadinya kembali suatu tindakan ketidakpatuhan dan untuk mempertahankan perbaikan dari waktu ke waktu; dan
  • mengidentifikasi langkah-langkah penilaian yang akan digunakan untuk mengevaluasi efektivitas rencana perbaikan.

Perencanaan Perbaikan Strategis (PPS)  harus  menunjukkan  bahwa  tindakan yang dilakukan rumah sakit untuk dapat mencapai “terpenuhi lengkap” terhadap standar dan elemen penilaian. Perencanaan Perbaikan Strategis (PPS) harus sudah dikirim ke KARS dalam waktu 1 (satu) bulan setelah s ertifikat akreditasi diterima oleh rumah sakit.
