PERSETUJUAN UMUM (GENERAL CONSENT)

Pada saat pasien diterima waktu mendaftar rawat jalan dan setiap rawat inap, diminta menandatangani persetujuan umum (general consent). Persetujuan umum (general consent) harus menjelaskan cakupan dan batasannya.

Maksud dan Tujuan HPK 5

Rumah sakit wajib meminta persetujuan umum (general consent) kepada pasien atau keluarganya berisi persetujuan terhadap tindakan yang berisiko rendah, prosedur diagnostik, pengobatan medis lainnya, batas-batas yang telah ditetapkan, dan persetujuan lainnya. Persetujuan umum diminta pada saat pasien datang pertama kali untuk rawat jalan dan setiap rawat inap.

Rumah sakit diminta untuk memberitahu pasien tentang terdapat peserta didik/ pelatihan yang ikut berpartisipasi dalam asuhan pasien sebagai bagian dari pendidikan/pelatihan mereka.

Rumah sakit memiliki dokumentasi dalam rekam medik tentang persetujuan umum.
Pasien juga diberi informasi tentang tindakan dan prosedur, serta pengobatan yang berisiko tinggi yang memerlukan persetujuan khusus (informed consent) secara terpisah.
