Persetujuan Khusus (Informed Consent)

Rumah sakit menetapkan regulasi pelaksanaan persetujuan khusus (informed consent) oleh DPJP dan dapat dibantu oleh staf yang terlatih dengan bahasa yang dapat dimengerti sesuai dengan peraturan perundang-undangan.

Maksud dan Tujuan HPK 5.1
Satu dari banyak upaya membuat pasien terlibat dalam pengambilan keputusan dalam proses asuhan/ tindakan adalah dengan jalan memberikan persetujuan (consent). Untuk dapat memberikan persetujuan, seorang pasien menerima penjelasan tentang faktor-faktor terkait dengan rencana asuhan yang pelaksaannya harus ada persetujuan khusus (informed consent). Persetujuan khusus (informed consent) harus diperoleh sebelum dilakukan prosedur atau tindakan tertentu yang berisiko tinggi. Proses pemberian persetujuan khusus(informedconsent) diatur oleh rumah sakit melalui regulasi yang jelas sesuai dengan peraturan perundang-undangan terkait.

Elemen Penilaian HPK 5.1

  1. Ada regulasi yang dijabarkan dengan jelas mengenai persetujuan khusus (informed consent). (R)
  2. DPJP menjelaskan informasi tindakan yang akan diambil dan bila perlu dapat dibantu staf terlatih.(D,W)

Pasien memahami informasi tindakan yang memerlukan persetujuan khusus(informedconsent) melalui cara dan bahasa yang dimengerti oleh pasien. Pasien dapat memberikan/menolak persetujuan khusus.
Persetujuan khusus (informed consent) diberikan sebelum operasi, anestesi (termasuk sedasi),pemakaian darah dan produk darah, tindakan dan prosedur, serta pengobatan lain dengan risiko tinggi yang ditetapkan oleh regulasi rumahsakit.

Maksud dan Tujuan HPK 5.2
Jika rencana asuhan termasuk prosedur bedah atau invasif, anestesi (termasuk sedasi), pemakaian darah dan produk darah, atau tindakan serta prosedur lain, dan pengobatan dengan risiko tinggi maka persetujuan khusus (informed consent) diminta secara terpisah. Tidak semua tindakan dan prosedur memerlukan persetujuan khusus (informed consent) dan rumah sakit membuat daftar tindakan sebagaimana yang disebut diatas.

Rumah sakit melatih staf untuk memastikan proses untuk memberikan persetujuan khusus(informedconsent) dilakukan dengan benar. Daftar disusun oleh dokter serta PPA lainnya yang melakukan tindakan dan prosedur secara kolaboratif. Daftar juga memuat prosedur serta tindakan yang dilakukan di unit rawat jalan dan rawat inap.
