TUJUAN  PEMERIKSAAN

Prosedur ini dibuat untuk melakukan pemeriksaan pengelolaan hutang usaha,  memperkecil kemungkinan terjadinya kecurangan atau penyelewengan terkait hutang usaha,  apakah hutang usaha  benar benar terjadi dan dilengkapi dokumen pendukungnya, pengeluarannya sesuai dengan kebijakan manajement dan penyajiannya apakah sesuai dengan prinsip akuntansi yang berlaku umum , sehingga dapat tercapainya pengendalian intern  control yang baik.

RUANG LINGKUP PEMERIKSAAN

Prosedur ini menjelaskan prosedur pemeriksaan terhadap hutang usaha karena hutang usaha merupakan aktivitas pengeluaran kas mudah untuk diselewengkan . Selain itu banyak transaksi organisasi  yang menyangkut hutang usaha.

PROSEDUR PEMERIKSAAN

  1. Pahami dan evaluasi internal control atas hutang usaha, dengan melakukan tanya jawab dengan auditee dengan menggunakan internal control questionnaires kemudian gambarkan dalam flowchart dan dalam bentuk cerita (jika dianggap perlu).
  2. Pastikan apakah ada pemisahan fungsi antara bagian pencatatan hutang usaha dan pengeluaran kas
  3. Pastikan apakah saldo hutang usaha yang tertera pada GL telah sesuai dengan Neraca saldo
  4. Pastikan apakah setiap catatan catatan hutang usaha disertai dokumen pendukung 
  5. Pastikan apakah setiap transaksi hutang usaha telah dicatat dalam catatan hutang usaha 
  6. Pastikan bahwa total hutang usaha pada catatan pengeluaran kas tersebut telah akurat 
  7. Pastikan apakah setiap hutang usaha tersebut benar-benar terjadi (tidak fiktif). 
  8. Pastikan apakah setiap pengeluaran uang ke supplier dilakukan otorisasi oleh pihak yang berwenang 
  9. Pastikan apakah hutang usaha di catat pada periode yang benar 
  10. Pastikan apakah hutang usaha telah di klasifikasikan secara benar 
  11. Pastikan apakah penyajikan dalam laporan keuangan sesuai dengan Pernyataan Standar Akuntansi Keuangan (PSAK) terbaru.
